We get LSC and TA!

LSC is Letter Seeking Confirmation. TA is travel approval. I'm just not the regular on top of it poster I was with Anna Lin's blog. Hmmm...I wonder why that is??? Maybe it is a little bit of six-year old Anna Lin, mixed with a small part of three teenage boys Zak, Spencer & Noah, their taxi requirements, and homework issues, add in a full time job, with a dash of my need for chaos as I worked on my National Boards for Teachers (portfolio finished April 14th, test finished last Friday!), and then a smidgen of hubby (sorry dear, you know I love you) thrown into my crazy pot of life. But it's my crazy life and I like it that way.

Anyway, we received our LSC May 5th and returned is ASAP, marking yes we want to proceed with getting Miss Autumn, here's our signatures, now out the door and onto the FedEx truck with you. Then we waited for our TA. Well, we found out Friday (directly before I went to take my test!!!) that it is in the mail. I was all goosebumpy, teary eyed as I drove to take my test, telling myself, "Shake it off Ang and focus on school library test stuff, not going to China stuff!"

We've filled out our U.S. Consulate appointment sheet with our requested dates, and now wait for it to arrive and the requests to be made. I'm sure Monday's holiday threw the mail off a day. I am really hoping it will get in and we would know our CA (consulate appointment) by this Friday. We are hoping for a CA of June 23rd, as are many other families. If we get this, we will need to leave June 13th at the latest. We get out of school June 5th, so that will give me a week (almost) to get things together. Your Ca is always right before you go home. This is the U.S. appointment for our new child, saying "Alright little girl, welcome to your USA family. You can now come home."

Well I guess the wait is not a problem, especially now that things are slowing down with the end of school and all. I just would really, really, really like to know the date so we can make our arrangements. We cannot make any arrangements until we have dates. If we had dates, then I could definately make the arrangements (flights, hotels, etc.), but I don't have the dates yet. Though I would really, really, really like to the have the dates as soon as possible. OK mail carrier, are you listening???? OK Consulate people, are hearing me???? I would really like to have a date so I can make arrangements.
